1979 Kenner Star Wars Rocket Firing Boba Fett, L-Slot Launching Configuration:
Several years ago we had the privilege of selling this particular Rocket Fett on EBay. We again have the good fortune to offer it for sale, this time exactingly grade by AFA, and perpetually encapsulated in a custom archival holder complete with stand. The condition for this particular "Rocket-Fett" was found by the authorities at AFA to be a beguiling NM+/MT 90! AFA - Cert. # 13125561. At the time this figure was reacquired, it was one of only two known for the grade - none rated higher!
In addition to the AFA encapsulation, this coveted unpainted first-shot comes with several letters of authenticity. The provenance starts with a testimonial from Tom Derby through CIB - this is the LOA incased with the figure. Complimenting that letter: an additional LOA from original owner John Howison, who back in the late seventies, was a Safety and Reliability Technician for Kenner; the original LOA from Rachfal Enterprises, along with a surgical image of the figures internal cavity. There's even a fourth, separate document addressing just the authenticity of the prototype four-sided missile.
Considering all the evidence, I think it is safe to pronounce this figure easily the most documented example in the hobby!
Grade: AFA 90 Cert. # 13125561 (One of two known for the grade - none rate higher!)
